Doerte is a superbly creative photographic artist in her own right, and, on occasion, sits for me as a model.
Berlin Night Club Series
The story here revolves around a 1930’s night club in Berlin. Amongst other entertainments if features cabaret dancers (one of whom is pictured here). There is a manager of the cabaret girls, a former dancer, now retired, but well suited to her role as a strict but fair supervisor who will keep the girls on the straight and narrow despite the blandishments and temptations thrown up by rich patrons of the nightclub.
Occasionally, the “den mother” struts her stuff, demonstrating to the girls she still has what it takes.
